What information do we collect? We collect limited information from you when you access webpages on our site.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties? No. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. How do we protect your information? We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you donate. All donations go through PayPal, which uses automatic fraud screening, oversees data security, and keeps donors' information safe. All employees and contractors who have access to (or could come across) user data must sign a User Data Non-Disclosure Agreement. 

European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): In compliance with GDPR, there are specific components of our privacy policy that you should be aware of. Please note that all GDPR requirements are met and described within this and the other sections of our privacy policy.

  •   You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

  •   We keep your data indefinitely, unless you request that we delete your data.

  •   Otherwise, we do not collect or store any of your publicly available information. 

  •   Other than cookies, the data that we collect is data that you provide when you communicate with KCF staff or donate on our website.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance: Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent. As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at any time by contacting the Keeling Curve Foundation at info@keelingcurve.org. 

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance: We comply with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act); we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website is a general audience website directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
